meth and E85

can a good mix of meth equate to E85 in octane and bring out the same kind of timing as E85. i looked and couldn't find an answer.

Yes. I'd rather run e85 over meth though personally.

I've been thinking about converting to e-85. I just don't know how practical it would be. How hard is it to convert?

just need bigger injectors and a tune.
the only shitty part about e85 is there are different blends for different seasons and you can't find it as well as you can regular fuel.

I have both. I have ford 39 lbs/hr injectors that came with my zzp stage 2 turbo kit. Would I need even bigger injectors than that? I thought you had to change the fuel pump and fuel lines too?

lulz 39lbph is barley bigger (maybe the same?) size as stock lsj. most running e85 are using 80lbph injectors. no need to change anything else.

i think e85 and meth have the same octane so you will never reach the octane of e85 buy spaying some meth

What? Pretty sure 39 means 39 no matter what brand. I could be wrong but I don't think so.

WOW, just WOW!!!

So much misinformation here!

You will NEVER flow enough meth to match E85!

The Ford Cobra 39's are rated at Ford's 39.15 PSI. With our GM's 58 PSI they flow 47.46 GPH.

lulz nice bolding skillz but no one ever said that enough meth could be flowed to match e85...
as for the injectors....yeah depends on what psi it's advertised at thats a different story. still prob wanna go larger for e85.

i would rather run meth. e85 has an octane range of 94-96 (R+M)/2. These calculations have been confirmed by actual octane engine tests. I run a methanol rating of 120 once its mixed with my 94 octane. why would you say you cant run a higher octane with methanol? pulled those calculations off of wikkipedia.

with my methanol MIXED with 94 octane comes out with 120 octane. that means thats what my motor is getting. so if you flow your e85 you will get 94-96 octane. All im debating is what octane rating is higher.

Bro you are retarded. You're slinging around numbers that you don't know **** about. Your meth does not equate to 120 octane sorry to burst your bubble but wikipedia isn't the solve all.
You are probably not even over 110 with meth injection, sorry.

I don't give a flying **** if your mix is 100% (which it isn't or you're a moron) your mix isn't going to equate to 120 octane. Plz tell me how you come up with that cause I can tell you how I disprove that .
