Methanol Kit installed!!

Well as it says, I just installed my devils own meth kit with the progressive controller. And some of you may have read a couple days ago, I didnt ground the controller the first time and when i gave it power, it popped (aka burnt the controller up) anyways i ordered the controller and got it in today so I installed. I must have been getting knock before because even though I am getting it tuned within the next couple weeks, right now untuned, I noticed a decent power gain. Plus around here the highest octane I could get was 91 and even then I don't think it was really 91. Also, I can just put my hand on the supercharger after I take a cruise and it doesn't even almost burn me. Well I'm done with my rant now and I will be posting up pictures of my install sometime tomorrow when I get of work. Once again thanks to Devils Own for a hell of a product and all the support I got from them.

I was gonna get the H/E but i decided on this cause it cools better and boost your octane as well.

Awesome, another satisfied Devil's Own customer! Take the T-shirt, I have one and love it. I think I'm going to have to order another one actually as mine is starting to fade!

i think the hardest thing i'd have to deal with is mounting the tank in the trunk, i have no room in the engine bay to put one. i know AIS makes a trunk mount kit, so i'm weighing the options right now.

I did mine in the trunk without making any holes or anything. You could use your washerfluid tank and keep it all under the hood.

i thought about that, but what if my windshield gets dirty....i'll have no fluid to wash it off. but i am still considering it, i'll just keep a container of windshield wipes in the trunk. how did you run the hose without making any holes?

You can still use it wash your windows cause thats basically what some winshield washer fluid is. Its where alot of people get there prmixed meth from. There is a little boot right behind the brake petal that i ran the map sensor wire and the meth hose.

oh ok. i think i might go sneaky with it and put the meth tank in the front bumper wheel well with the windshield washer fluid tank. it would just be a pain in the butt to refill the tank, but if i get a big enough tank i would probably only have to refill it every oil change.
