Mid-engine build-LSJ -saab ecotec

Ok, I picked up a saab b207r for a project, along with the saab trans. Not sure how much of the saab stuff is similar. I have a bunch of questions because I did not get the engine complete with everything. I plan to use a gm ecotec harness and ecm and remove any unneccesary parts. I am hoping that my build can be of use to the forums, I am shooting for 500hp and 1200 # in mid engine configuration.

Intermediate shaft: I have a saab part number 12788651 on the bracket (was told this came off a cobalt though), but I think I am missing the shaft to trans seal, or have the wrong length intermediate shaft. When the shaft fits snugly in the trans, the bolt holes on the bracket do not line up with the block.

Where does this line from front of the oil cooler go?

The saab has this thing I don't think the other gms get this. Does anyone see a problem with blocking off this and the power steering with plates?

How about the egr system? Has anyone blocked those ports to remove?

LSJ block, f35 trans. I can grab stamping numbers from them if there are differences

I guess it's a lk9 block, technically

yeah, most saab dudes aren't ripping apart their cars, as I've found. They use the same basic engine, which can be found for less than 1k with a turbo that is capable of over 300 hp. If I can uncover some of the differences in hardware, maybe it would be helpful to others on these forums.
