hey guys im running 15.5 lbs of boost rite now. i was wondering how much boost can the cobalt actully handle?? does anyone kno? i was thinking about doin the intense stage 5 kit..need some opinions! and if anyone has it, wut are u running 1/4 mile wise? any help would be appreciated!! thanks guys

 

apperantly a 2.5 pulley with bigger injectors can litterally be daily driven. i wonder when someone will try a 2.4 or smaller! In short it can hold over 20 pounds of boost, as long as you have tunes and injectors!

 

Im stoping at 18Psi my self.
I dont think that it well be as reliable in the long run if you go much past that.

The Stage 5 kit runs 20% over the blower redline. Its not going to last very long. The shortest I will go is 2.7"

 

Yeah, I don't like that idea...That's why when you get to a 2.8 or 2.7 pulley with a 7000 rpm redline, you either need to get a bigger supercharger, twin screw, port it, or add a turbo. I'm stopping with a 2.8 inch pulley at 7000 engine rpms so that I don't redline the blower.
