People tend to stick with roots because they are readily available as bolt on options but there are no such screw setups. and screws will 99.99% of the time cost more

Ive heard the twin-screws are more efficient under boost, but less efficient when you are just cruising, due to the lack of a bypass/pressure reliever valve. Is this why people stick with the roots-style when they are swapping?

I know half of the reason I bought my cobalt was to have the good mileage and not have a bitch car.
MP90 fits under the hood no prob even the huge MP1900 fits under the hood with no prob. And twin screws do use by pass valves. But the air that is still going through the rotor pack when the by pass is open is still getting compressed even at idle.

im hoping hes open to making more in the future im grinding up the parts for my big block cobalt project (darton sleeves with max overbore and le5 crank, hoping for 2.7 displacement) and want the mp90 to pressurize it! plus its nice that there is at least one other blower available for us. m62 or tvs is a fairly boring spread, if he keeps the mp90 in production long enough it will gather its own following. particularly after i break this **** wide open.

Really not expensive when you look at what it costs to build a motor to sustain a lot more power though
