Muffler Replacement only?

Hey guys, I really know this is going to sound like a ricer idea, but I've been entertaining the idea of just swapping out mufflers on my SS/SC. I don't have any major mods and don't really need any extra airflow... So im thinking about a single chamber magnaflow muffler only for now, because in all honesty.. I just hate having a quiet car... all I need is some sound, haha.

You could have a local exhaust shop make you a catback for not too much more than the cost of the muffler + install. (Compared to buying a cat-back from a vendor)

If you cut the stock exhaust before the axle and have the exhaust shop put true 2.5 pipe the rest of the way back and a decent muffler on it , you have a better flowing exhaust than some catback's .
