so recently (since i got the car back) the car has had idle issues. its a weekend toy so it gets no love from me. ive had it at 5 diff shops/tuners. no one could seem to get it right.

finally got it to a shop that took a deeper look into it.
apparently the cams were all kinds of wrong. intake cam was about the equivalent of a stage 1 cam only good to make power to 7k rpms. the exhaust cam was ground wrong. was off by a couple teeth and seemed to be wrong in general. the intake cam serial number was a comp cam and the exhaust was not a real serial number at all... completely confused honestly.

so, this would explain why the car wasnt making more than 16psi with the 2.5 pulley. also why it wouldnt idle. the cams are out of the car now. getting a custom grind from comp that will be setup correctly and we will see what the car will actually do.

i think 400 was good for 16psi and cams that didnt like life together or with my car

comp cams are ok they will give you a generic grind for the ecotec and they did not put the hex in the cam correctly but there are better choices out there good luck

Fixed the intake manifold. Bigger intercooler. Put the meth back on it.
Major cam issue was fixed.
The cams were ground incorrectly. The exhaust was 12° off. Had new cams made.
Fixed up the issues with idle and all that.
Car runs great
Happy with it so far. Gained 2psi. This blower is just too small for the car.
Next is to fix the suspension and see where it goes next
