My performance plans

feel free to chime in people. please no drama lets keep it nice and simple all help apreciated.

so im planning to get a 2.7 for my m62 80lb injectors and tune on e85 along with getting the flow thru tank from vulcan that acts like a stu mod if im correct? already have ottp h.e and dual pass and full exhaust. stg 2 belt and all the simple steps. i think it shoulbe be a nice set up for now, until i get the tvs in jan and 3 inch exhaust on e85.

what all yall reccoment for what im plannning? that should be good or no?

maybe a fuel pressure regulator i was told to adjust the pressure?

with 80lbs i should be fine for now with no return style right?

anyhelp is welcome

thanks

Thats a pretty sick setup. I'm pretty sure that you don't need a return style fuel sytem. There is a member on here named ebristol or something like that who had a similar setup making 285whp 265wtq. He would prob have the best insight for these mods.

Yeah he def has some good info. One thing that you may want to consider is that there are different e85 mixtures for the different seasons. Im not sure that its a big enough difference to require a change in your tune but its something you should consider. Im looking into doing a similar setup as you but imo it wouldnt be worth it if you have to change a bunch of things every season. At least for me bc i don't have the money to keep retuning my car.

if you have the money, go ahead and get at a return style. you'll need it when you go tvs with 79s/80s

All I wish is that they had E85 around me. Or I would deff go that route. e85 equals out to be 107 octane so thats where it makes it's power and runs cooler.

All you will need is the 80lb injectors, we are working on a e85 kit that should be ready in 2 weeks, so keep a look out.

if all you need is 80lb injectors, then what would a kit consist of?

The tune would be the other part. Or if they don't already ahve a stage kit it will include a pulley, belt, harness, and plugs.

yeah that sounds exactly like what i plan on doing. ebristol convinced me on the idea as well. I emailed OTTP and asked if there is a way i could get a 2.7 pulley, 80 # injectors , and a can tune for that in a package and i cant wait to see what they come up with.

Just have a question. Why not save the money and go TVS earlier. I just find it kind of pointless to do all of that for the M62 just to swap it back out in a couple months.

However I must say I do like the set up. You wouldn't by any chance have gotten it from the other thread would you?

Good luck with E85. I'm not going to run it for a couple reasons, 1) It's scarce here in CFL. And 2) I is happy with pump 93 and Meth Injection.
