In 2nd from a 40 roll on dry roads my car will spin pretty damn bad if I dont roll into it. I have S2, 2.9, full exhaust, and air box mod. You will be happy with stage 2 for a bit, but you will want more power sooner or later.

I had a 2.8, stage 2, full exhaust and a CAI and I couldnt spin from a 40 roll on dry pavement, well at least in the summer, maybe in the winter when the road is cold and there is some salt residue, but hot pavement with sticky 225/40/18 tires = no spin (unless dropping it to 2nd and reving it up)

I found that my 225 gripped much better than my 215's, plus they are still pretty much brand new.

Now on the other hand in the winter with my winter rims spinning from a 40 roll is a joke becuase the pavement is super cold and there is salt residu on the pavment plus the tires are 205/60/16 winters!

what kind of 225 tires are you running? Our stock pirelli's also aren't the best for traction, but i do have to say on nice dry pavement with mods including full plumbing, stage 2 and nate 2.9" pulley i can only brake it loose in second when power shifting and rev-dropping a gear around 40, but 1st gear a joke at any rev when WOT.

Ya, 1st gear I can spin them at any rpm and speed, but leaving it in 2nd and just punching it at 40 wont cause it to spin on dry pavement with the 225's. Now punching it in 1st and then shifting fast to 2nd will light the tires up pretty easy, but thats only becuase i am hitting 2nd gear after a 1st gear punch and then slamming 2nd.

But i would disagree with one of the staments above saying that stage 2 and 2.9 with exhaust you have to roll into 2nd gear or it will just spin, thats just silly!
