I need a new engine mine blew should I rebuild or buy a new one what do you all think is best? I have a $2000 budget.

 

depends on what you wanna do with the car. if your going to keep the car as is (going by your mods in your signature) or planning to get rid of it soon, id just find a good used engine. if you want to make more power, push it harder, etc, looks more at rebuilding or buying a "crate" engine. your not going to be able to find a "new" stock engine anymore. it really also depends on what happened with your engine and if you can reuse things like the block, crank, head, etc.

I blew the piston in cylinder one 0 compression. i saw this wasnt sure if it was a good idea or just buy a create. If I do buy create i dont know where to start or what to buy to make sure i have everything.
