Need exaust input !!

I am looking to get a new catback exaust, I had to go back to stock long story. Now I need to know if i sould go full 3in catback from header back, 2.5in catback wit my 3in down pipe that bolt to a 2.5 catback or stay stock catback. I need to know what people think is gunna to give me the best gain for my mods (there in my vbgrage) and what the best brand for the size you think is gunna give me the best gain. All input is welcome.
P.S. I have seach the forum and did my researh now i want to see what people think..

I would go with a 2.5 catback all the way back, 3" doesnt seem necessary unless your TVS or plan on going over 300whp

In the same boat you are. Looking for a 2.5 or 3.0. Do have plans to go TVS next season.

Might be picking up one from a member this weekend hopefully. Still looking at options though.

just get a 3" so you don't have to revise it when you go for big power later. You don't really lose hp with a bigger exhaust. I see an exhaust thread almost everyday I swear.

Well like i said if your going for bigger power mods later on than 3" should definately be an option. What would i recommend? Not sure, I owned the GMPP performance catback and it was pretty loud and not 2.5 all the way back. I have a custom magnaflow that i had made from a local shop, which may not be too far from you. It sounds pretty good and its good at idle and cruise but opens up at WOT. Some people swear by the Dynomax Superturbo mufflers or something like that. Lol i kno that was alot of scattered information but i would go with a custom and pick the muffler and resonator that you think would best fit.

Better low end torque with the magnaflow, better top end power with Hahn. Neither are bad systems, both have good to them.
