Need some POWR!!!

Just bought my SS on June 1, 2006. It was a used certified car only 3 months old. Previous owner wanted a different color. It has bout 7500mi now. Its all stock and I looking to upgrade it. I don't have the money to sink lot into it right now. Haven't even made the first payment yet. But would like to add things hear and there. But if I can add Stage kits that included alot of what I want, Pulleys, intakes, etc. Then I would rather save for one then having to sink $400-$500 in parts seperately.

Well, anyone with some advice please respond. I prefer a "Sleeper" car. Its not something thats gonna be a the drag strip (just yet anyways). It is a commuter car and the only one I got. Don't wont to be tearing up.

Anyways, thanks for any help.

Matt

intense stage 5 is a $1000 and you should get about a 60-65 hp gain. Well worth the cost.

ok since you want a commuter car i would go with gm stage 2. It is cheaper and backed with warranty since you will be driving it daily. Then from there you can order a 2.8 pulley that fits the same hub and have a nice little sleeper. If you want to spend a little more get an intake and exhaust possibly header back. There are lots of options but since its a daily driver like mine this is probably one of the best setups to keep driveability and warranty. I still manage about 30 mpg highway WITH all the mods and about 20-25 city. But when i find the gas pedal which is most of the time i get about 17-20.

I put 5000 K in the first month that I had it. If I had in july instead of August I would have had over 10,000K on it. that equals 6150Miles. Plus my car had 625miles on it before I bought it. that is 6775 miles in 2 months. I only drove it part time for my work. 7500 I agree is alot but is not unrealistic in 3 months I did half that in one month.

Do the stage 2 and pulley. not much cash best bang for the buck and retains warranty. then to intake, exhaust, and HP TUNER pack. you will be set.

and you may have problems with warranty though so dont do this if it is a concern. I personally would say go for it but I am not worried about dealing with a dealer about warranty issues. you may not want that hassle though. your decision. you could try being upfront with your dealer that your thinking of doing this and how they would view it if you had engine problems.
