Yeah Dave told me that he spoke with you over the phone. He asked me if I knew Paul with a cobalt SS I said the only one I know with a balt SS is a guy out of NY and his first name is paul so it must have been you.

I think sinisterredlines (Chris Henry) was running them with out issues. im not 100% sure though you would have to ask him.

I'm going to send another head to him and have him put bigger valves in it this time and go even more wild on the porting. I tired to take pics of the porting work he did to my head for you guys but the camer was NOT playing along. its truly a work of art you guys would be most impressed im sure of it. the dude is bad ass plain and simple.(though about having it converted to the JESSLE valve train that GM used in thier DRAG balt but I dont know well see how much of a damper it will put on the checking account. )

Well im out to sea right now but Dave has a friend who is going to weld the 8bolt hole pattern shut and re drill it for the LE5 6 bolt pattern. my other option is to go to spec and they will make me a clutch = to that of the Exedy hyper setup with a custom flywheel to fit my crankshaft flange but they want me to buy 10 flywheels @ 350 bucks a pop just for them to fire up the CNC machines. my math isnt perfect but thats almost more then I've spent on my entire engine. Like I said though Dave is going to hook it up for me. He hasnt done me wrong yet. R&D is also going to help with all of my Turbo pluming Ect. for the snail conversion. I though briefly about twincharging but I think with the turbo and a bit of juice ill be ok. after I get the engine back together ill be running my blower for now with a 2.6 pulley I'm going to LA to a very well known tuning shop to have them fine tune this bad boy with the juice. ill bump the rev limiter up to 7500 and start the nitrous at 3000 cut the nitrous off at 7K

Probably not anytime soon. I've been busy with other projects (turbo 2.4, now a local turbo redline broke a timing chain tensioner so starting the rebuild on that car) and haven't been able to do a thing to my own car other than order a pair of slicks that are sitting in my basement. Coupled with the fact I'm only home 3 days a week because I'm on the road working for the railroad its been a shitty summer trying to get anything done.

AlphaJaguar over on the redline forums is running the same setup, I think he's going to end up beating me to the dyno. I hope to have it on the track though in the next week or two, just waiting on a set of axles to arrive.

nice man, my car is finally going in to get the turbo done this week. Depending on my bonus check this week, I should have my head and cams finally sent out next week at some point. Finally things are going to get done, oh yeah, picking up another monte SS this week to use my 406 sbc and T-76 on.

Mine are screaming. I run a 2.8" blower pulley to an 8k redline and don't have much trouble putting a couple lengths on the 2.5/2.6" guys and a certain auto LS2. I'd say it was a success.

Mine are actually doing quite well. It was finally tuned a few months ago and I've gone through a few thousand miles w/ no issues at all. I put down 244/228 on a Mustang with these cams and a 2.8. I/H/DP/Stock Exhaust. I'm going back in September to have it tuned again for the upcoming cold weather, but before we mess around w/ it, I'll see if we can do a pull or two when the temp isn't 85 and the humidity is below 50%. I was hoping for 250/230 mustang. I'm sure on a good day my car can pull that off.

$250 plus shipping. They regrind yours and include the shims for under the lash adjusters.

I was curious myself as to what he is charging.

When I bought mine, I went through a 3rd party (namely MVP) and had to purchase his set of cams so I wasn't sure what the exact charge for only the regrinds and the shims would be. The total I paid was including the extra set of cams to be regound.

On a side note, these same profile cams are going to be installed in a turbo swapped LSJ this week. I can't wait to see what they do for performance. He has a dyno from before the cams, the only problem was a broken timing chain tensioner was playing with the tune since the stock cams were never in the same position with each revolution because of timing chain slack.
