Thats the first time I seen that vid. The boost did build to 10psi very quickly and after that slowed down but I'm still very impressed. I'm sure once the boost is built it stays there. That would be much better for getting off the line anyways.

By the first few posts I thought I was going to see something totally amazing....

I hear the procharger is supposed to sound like a jet engine or something. Try and get a good video of what that thing really sounds like.

it does if you listen to the car at idle it has a nice high pitch turbine whistle

Exactly. This same exact concept apply's to the eaton.

It does! thats what we were going for. I didnt really want to change everthing about driving the car. If your driving around town it will hit 2-5 psi very quickly and make for great drivability! And the noise from the procharger is mainly only at idle and under no load. (bypass valve fully opened)

The eaton I'm sure produces much more heat though and is less efficent.

yupyup ALOT more heat and takes ALOT more to spin we need to get new dyno numbers from a different shop with the 2.9 pulley and the 2.25 pullies so that way we can see a correct dyno number for 12 psi and see how much you're gaining at "relative boost"

My P1 does the same. On my GTO I never see boost around town until I really nail it. Just like driving a stock GTO great derivability.

This is exactly what I expected. So let's take a closer look at things.

You're so sure, yet you have no proof. All you've seen is a dark video with loud music.

Stock Blower? Yep
2.6? negative, keep guessing(or, check my garage.)
Correct Injectors? check, imagine that, someone other than a car GOD like you actually knows what they're doing when they mod.

I know there are those kind of people out there but, I'm not one of them. Thanks for sharing. Sorry you got that impression.

I never made a claim of hp. Even if I did, it wouldn't be anywhere near that number.

to those i simply say check the other procharger page before posting here everything has been discussed there......
Just wondering if you were talking about me and having a little trouble understanding what I posted as well. Nothing I said in the post that was attacked can be corrected, it's fact. Dark, loud music, ~20psi, all facts.

Let me see if I can break this down for you guys.

This statement is undisputable fact. I didn't say anything about my car being the Cobalt of all Cobalts that's going to "blow the doors off" of anything. I too, still need to get to a dyno and do some tweeking. I didn't make any claims of HP. I honestly don't know, and I'm not about to make any kind of estimation. An estimation would be an assumption, which is often wrong. Like the assumption that you guys think I'm some sort of ignorant idiot that doesn't know what I'm doing, or what I'm talking about.
Take a little more time to read what someone posts and what's actually being said before you think you have all the answers to questions that don't even exist.

And again chevy, thanks, and keep up the good work
