Mine usually brings my temps within a degree or 2 of the outside temp.
The KC works well on really hot days.

At least untill i build my new manifold. Think i said tomuch already.

G8's dont monitor charge air temps. They only see temps at the air filter.

Mine are anywhere from 20 to 30 dregress over ambient while cruising

I am really beginning to wonder if a dual pass and option b does much for those that are running a 2.9 or larger pulley. For the average person that is not racing or doing back to back full throttle pulls, just merely cruisng with the occasional spirited driving, it seems that the stock cooling system is more than sufficient to keep things in check.

I am sure some will jump in flame for saying this, but just my opinion and observation

Temps will always rise in traffic, no matter how good your cooling mods are. In traffic, you have little to no airflow to bring in cooler air. The key is the recovery after being in traffic. Do your IAT2's drop fast?

I did a 1st-3rd gear pull last night, and my temps at the top of 3rd (7500 rpm) were 140, but dropped immediately back down to 15-20 over IAT1.

Yes they do. They are for recovery. Not droping your cruising temps.... Remember I run a GMR 76 mm (2.992") pulley.... The dual pass/Opt. B help.

The best cooling option I've done for dropping cruising temps was adding my OTTP heat exchanger.

Before the addition of my dual pass, IAT2's took a little to drop. Once I installed the GMR dual pass, temps drop right after the pull.

Opt. B should have been installed on our cars from the factory. It removes all air from the intercooling system. The LSJ is not a one bleed and your done kinda system.
