Not runnin so good..

Sooo the other day we had gotten a little rainfall and snow mix and the car started runnin bad because the I had an injen cai and filter with no hydrosheild and i ended suckin some water which made the car run like crap so got the stock air box and intake back on. Today I go to drive it and if I go to take off in 2nd gear at a lower rpm it bogs a little then comes out of it and same with 3rd and 4th gear... Any ideas on what this could be? Not throwin any CELs.. Thanks for any help!!

You quite possibly screwed up the MAF. Hard to say for sure though, since you gave us very little info to work with. My suggestion would be not to drive at low RPM's, as well.

I've been having this same type of Issue, I'm hoping that after I put my new CAI on and clean the MAF that mine stops Hesitating/Bogging as much in the lower RPMS as well.

I had had problems driving in the rain with the intake. I recommend the hydro shield it works!
If your MAF gets moisture/water on it will make the car run like crap.

I also fabricated out of sheet metal a shield that sits in top section of bay (above filter) to deflect some of the water/moisture away from filter. On my 06 SS/SC I noticed the fog lights have gaps around them to allow in air, I think the water is getting in that way.

I took some pictures of the shield we made and put into place may post them when I get a chance.

Yeah post em up if you can sometime. I was talkin with my dad on how we could fabricate one or something but I had noticed that the fog lights did have a gap above it.
