the fujita filters sit a lot lower than the injen ones i've driven through some crazy rains and never had a problem

I'm seeing that you guys are mostly having a rubbing issue. Mine's rubbing a little, but most ly (when I let off the throttle at all) the tube bangs vilantly against the frame and the hole in the fender. There has got to be a better way......... I'm so frustrated!!

BTW >> On top if my intake woes, the tip to my muffler fell off on the freeway last week. My DC Sports muffler!! WTF!! I'm almost ready to give up modding..............

No issues here. Prolly bout due to either clean the filter or swap her out. I'm prolly gonna swap the filter though.

<--- Injen removed and replaced with just a K&N filter. I also received zero replies when i asked for help even when i offered to pay for replacement parts. Also my MAF went haywire after about 7 months. May or may not have been the Injen's fault though.

If you don't take off u're hood strut, it pushes down on the intake when u close the hood. That is probably what caused it. If you notice, the tube sits higher than the stock airbox. Which causes closure problems. Your warranty is still good, so you'll probably get your $ back or a new intake. If you do get a new intake, take off the strut. I didn't notice that my hood was bowing out on that side until I got my carbon fiber piece. Surely enough, that was the problem. Give it a shot.

When I had issues like this with an intake on a older car of mine, I put a rubber tube connector over the section of pipe that was rubbing fixed the problem like a charm! I'll have to see if i have any pics!

Her is a copy of the letter I sent...yet to get a response I even included pics for the MORONS First part is a follow up letter, I have no paitence I beleive they should repond quickly to dissatisfied customers.

I SENT THIS ONCE BEFORE... I THOUGHT YOU WERE A REPUTABLE COMPANY, I SEE OTHER MEMBERS ON THE COBALTSS.NET SIGHT ARE ALSO NOT GETTING A RESPONSE...NOT GOOD CUSTOMER RELATIONS... YOUR COMPANY IS SUCCESSFUL DON'T LET YOUR REPUTATION BE RUINED BY A DISGRUNTLED GROUP OF CAR OWNERS, UNLESS YOU DON"T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT OUR LITTLE GROUP ( IT'S BEEN A WEEK AND I'VE YET TO GET A RESPONSE, OTHERS HAVE WAITED LONGER) Big NO-NO in the CUSTOMER SERVICE INDUSTRY!

>I purchased an intake through Intense Motorsports approx. 8 months ago...Installed as directed but there seems to fittiment issues with the product below are some pictures of the damage done to the intake due to it not fitting correctly. Now I am a member on the Cobaltss.net forums and I noticed that I am not the only one who has experinced this problem heres the link to a thread about said problem https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...t=injen+intake his intake is worn in the same manner as mine! What can be done to resolve this problem, one member had to put a $50 deposit to have his replaced but I don't feel that is fair when you already have the money for the one that is damaged. Please contact me at d_backer1@hotmail.com so this issue can be resolved. Thank you!

your first inquery was similar to mine.... no response and it's been nearly a month. not gonna happen.

K&N on the other hand has been very responsive and helping me out with a whole different issue regarding their pipes.
