I know was just wondering if there was a site that was more cobalt specific instead of getting sites talking about 99 ford tauruses and crap like that.

i got a p1744 code that is pending acording to the recorder that i have it says it is pending so it might be a old code that never got cleared from previous owner

is your CEL currently on? or did you just hook up the scanner and come across that code in the history?

because if the cause of the code being thrown is fixed, but the CEL is not cleared, it will clear itself after 3 nonproblematic ignition cycles. and then it will be in the code history regardless of if its cleared manually or by the ecu for another 40 cycles

I was useing a recorder that i have that monitors all sorts of things while you are driving and records them. then you plug it into your computer when you get home and gives you all the info everything from how fast you drive to various temp and also monitors for problems and misfires and all sorts of crazy stuff.
Apparently my roomate borrowed it without telling me and never cleared the data so the code was actually from his car not mine. Which is great now that i know but had me worried for a bit when i thought it might be from my car.
