I'm going to go with the gmpp exhaust. It's sounds the best i think. And it also has the most attractive price. Plus there is something cool about having gm backed parts.

I know no one has posted on this in a couple weeks, but with that Flowmaster exhaust, is there anything you can do to make it just a little quiter. I like the way it sounds, and of course the price but like many people, I want to be able to hear myself talk and hear my engine when I am driving. My friend had an N1 on his Acura and I hated how loud it was when we were on the Interstate, we almost had to yell to hear each other.

Yea on page 11, a guy has a flowmaster exhaust and a video of it. It sounds kind of like an srt-4.

Hi guys just done reading al 15pages. Ive listened to most of the sound clips and hp/tq gain claims. i wanna get the gmpp sport exhuast but the header looks like crap. the only aftermarket header i could find was a pacestter at turbotech. they also had a monza exhuast but no cat for it. so im in a bit of a jam. If i go with the gmpp exhuast is there a descent header that will work well? And if i go with the pacesetter header and exhaust what cat will fit? Any advise would be helpfull.

Check out cobalt-addiction.com I think they offer the zzp downpipe, now, I'm not sure how it will bolt on to the gm exhaust.

Doesn't CA sell their own downpipes? Also it should bolt up just fine to the exhaust. As far as a header, look into Cobalt Addiction, scdyne, hahn.

zzperformance.com has a header and downpipe combo among other exhaust combinations.

Ok, I've read through this thread and a few others. Is GMPP giving gains of 5 or 12 HP. I've seen claims of both along with 5 or 12 TQ? Is the touring going to give the same HP and TQ as the performance?

How does GMPP compare to Corsa for wheel tq and hp numbers? I didn't see any claims for the corsa other than the website claimed 12 HP which I think is a little high.

Thanks!

ok heres what i came up with. the performance from a pacestter exhuast and header with a magnaflow cat VS the GMPP sport exhuastand header are about the same. the cost is about the same with the fab needed for the PS setup makes up the diff in price for the more expensive GMPP which i hear is made by borla. so im still torn. GM is quick and easy but the PS will look alot better. I've decided I don't know enough about tuning to make a good choice and if i can afford it im going to UTI's Super Streeet training program before i make any more real changes.

So nobdy out there has a dyno before and after from the GMPP Touring exhaust? What about Corsa, either the sport or touring dyno before and after would be great.

Is it possible the Corsa guys are only seeing better gains if running a smaller pulley? What about with GM Stage 2 or a 2.8" pulley?

What do you guys think about this (or if it would even work):

1. CTI Header

2. CTI Downpipe or Hahn Downpipe

3. Hahn Racecraft Cat-Back?

As you see I'm in a delima. I either want a full Hahn exhaust, from Header to Exhaust, or a mixture of the CTI and Hahn.

IMO, your spending $1500 that could be spent in better places.

I got a pacesetter header (love it) as you can see in my avatar for $168 (personal discount), and a custom 3" downpipe/exhaust w/out cat and a magnaflow resonator and muffler for $350. So I have a good header, and a full custom exhaust for $518. Not bad IMO
