im not familiar with chargers...im a huge turbo guy (turbo anything and everything)...so this SS S/C cobalt when i get it in 2 months is new to me....one question how come no one makes a 3" back exhaust? cuz turbos live for 3" or alil bigger, is there a reason charged cars dont?? cuz ill make 3" header back...

Because superchargers don't run off the exhaust like turbos do. Turbos want a 3" exhaust because it will help the turbo wich runs off of it. A supercharger uses outside air and forces it into the motor. If we had 3" exhaust on our ss/sc the loss of back pressure would hurt our bottom end power more than if it was say 2.5"

I like the magnaflow the best. I have it installed on mine it looks super clean and sounds mint. I suggest doing a header and test pipe then it sounds insane!! with just the exhaust its a nice small power gain but once you get the header and take out the cat it really opens up.

i'll be designing an exhaust for an unnamed company over the next couple months. i'm going to the dyno on sunday to get a baseline for testing purposes, and should begin constructing it not too long after that.

i'll keep you guys posted...

Yeah, thats the only thing that sucks, I haven't even heard the slightest supercharger whine from my car since I got the exhaust, its just to loud! Thats all gonna change 'cause I'm gettin a K&N intake in a few days, that whine will be a great welcome back addition to my car

I got enough miles on my car that my exhaust evolved to Stage 2. Damn baffle let loose and now it sounds like a Honda.

I'll post some clips for you later.

More like a GM Stage -2

You'll have to wear your baseball cap crooked and set your seat all the way back to drive it now. Get some stickers and you'll be set...

Get it fixed, quick!
