I hated the way my flowmaster 50-series deltaflow sounded on my Z24. That's why it only lasted one day on there!

My stock exhaust went down to 2.25". About the last 2 feet was 2.25".

The cat-back from GMPP 17802111 is 2.25" which happens to be different than stock.

I just got my Corsa Touring today from TurboTech! I think I'm going to install it tomorrow since I have the day off. Caught one of TurboTechs discount deals again that couldn't be beat anywhere else shipped to my door.

has anyone here gone with a 3 inch exhaust, does it hurt low-end power, does it lower boost, and will somebody tell me if an aftermarket exhaust voids the warentee!!!

Aftermarket exhaust will not void your warranty if it's from the cat-back. 3" exhaust is likely to loose low-end power if your not running crazy boost to make up for it. I think a 2.5" is optimal for our cars personally as it has been dyno proven.

Go to your driver side by the rear wheel and look at the stock exhaust....you can def see where it has a welded section that drops to 2.25" piping just before the muffler

I heard that the Grand-Am Cup Cobalt swithched from a custom Corsa 3" down to a custome Corsa 2.5". If the race guys are swithching from 3" to 2.5", I would go 2.5", unless you plan on some extreme boost. If that's the case I don't think the dealer is gonna be too worried about the exhaust.

2.5" is optimal for the SS/SC at all sane power levels. Corsa builds the system for the Grand Am Cobalt and they have gone from 3" to 2.5" for this season. According to Corsa the only thing the 3" system adds is weight.

Good luck....they also want like $160+ for shipping as i remember. I looked into it a while ago, they may advertise that low but once you add shipping it may be $15 cheaper than turbotech....

I got my Corsa Touring from TurboTech with the discount they did for $668 shipped to my door! I think I'm getting old though because I still think it's kinda loud at WOT, but it is quiet as stock while cruising. At least it doesn't sound like a honda.

hey can i just get a corsa muffler? Im getting my tubing done by someone else, he said I just need to provide the muffler or he would just provide a magnaflow muffler. Im thinking about getting a flowmaster 40 series, all with no resinator has anyone done that? does it sound good if you have? I want it to be as loud as possible and still sound fairly good, I have 2 super 40's on my 73 gmc and they sound awesome so i was just wondering if it still sounds good with half the cylenders.

As a matter of fact I got that done yesterday and it sounds bad ass. IT is REALLY loud. I tried to upload a video but my computer won't transfer from the camera to the comp for some weird reason.
