I sure hope witt is running a turbo because only an idiot would use turbo cam specs on a supercharged car.
Why wouldn't it work? His car breaks the tires loose from a 30mph pull in 2nd with them among the other forged internals he has. The only problem was that its a bitch to tune but he is working that issue out. Have you even been following the thread on his Witt's car and the cams?

No one for sure has a dyno to prove it but im sure it would be a good +15whp increase with a litte loss of torque and you get one sick ass idle

Tag wasn't doing the kit anymore... please read threads, mase took... well not going there, but he took the project solo after leaving TAG, and had rebel help him finish it... so basically it still is the TAG kit

This coming from the guy who tries to convince everyone that the M90 is a better supercharger for our cars.

This might be my favorite stupid post on the site.

Wit,

Why would you use turbocharged specs on a supercharged car? Do you know anything about cam profiles? It doesn't seem like it.

As for the M90. I didn't say it was better then a whipple or a turbo. All i said it was a "Cheaper" alternative that would give us good gains.

I chose the grind that I did based on head flow, stock torque curve and intended engine redline. I don't say to a grinder, "hai gimme dose reel fast supacharga cams not dem slowar turbo onez."

If you want to debate cam specs in a civil manner feel free to take it to my cam thread instead of this one. You posted in the one on the redline forums over a month ago so I know you know which one it is.

The redline forums? I maybe look over there once a month. As for your turbo'd cams. What are the specs? LSA?

Update...ChevyTech sent back the Mock up SC and it is a matter for getting the real head unit out and bolting her up! we are hoping in 2-3 weeks (not ChevyTech's fault as each head unit from procharger is made from scratch and tested before sending out) so ChevyTech called me last night and was going nuts and i know he is just an anxious then you guys i do know he made a statement that when it comes in he is going to worth through the night and take off work if he has to!

Also i did see the TS thread and it is very nice and clean setup...and we will be very excited to see how it holds up to the power output and cfm of the procharger...All i do know is it will be fun and should be good for the GM Sport Compact Community...

Just based on the fact that prochargers like high pressure ratios moreso than twinscrews, I see this as a very viable option. Just imho. Keep up the great work.
