Ya cylinder 2 and 3 runners are gonna be a bit of a pain it looks like. I'm gonna get it setup on the spare motor I got and see what issues ill have. I might file a bit away from the runners to get the bolts to fit better
The lifters came with the cams I bought. Gonna have a couple heads setup differently

last time i dyno'd on a gmpp it was on the old turbo setup and hurt engine back in '10. did like 320 something. went 12.6@114. it holds quite a bit. i think josh is still on one. or was for quite a while after his swap.

how much is that gonna run you? don't mean to be a fanboy but zzp's girdle is like 1,300 shipped after core charge is refunded. 1000bhp capable, ready to run whatever you want.

I'm still holding on my stock clutch at about 350whp been a few months and still going strong. I have faith in my gmpp clutch sitting in my basement when time comes to install it. Others with more power have good things to say about the gmpp clutch.

I'm sure he'll chime in, but I'd figured I'd ask in here also. What are your thoughts on the turbonetics turbo terry1 is trying to unload? Remember I have a 60trim ebay turbo with .70A/R housing so it is nothing special. I don't get full boost till close to 4.2k and I wouldn't mind seeing it a bit sooner.

Yeah I figure Id I just stay with the 60s i will be sitting near 400 but if I grab some 80s Might try for more lol so hopefully she will hold

getting anything up here from the states is 10x more expensive. plus I'd rather have the work done by a performance shop up here where I know the guys and can drop in anytime I want to check on it

make sure you check the valve train geometry with the solid lifters and new cams and you need to measure the base circle of the cams also if it is smaller then stock then you will need to run a longer stemed valve to correct the geometry if you dont it will shove the valve crooked in the guide and wear it out realy fast

So finally got around to doing this (with help from Brian aka Facepalm_IRL):
Which led to me pulling the head off and finding this (180k miles on a stock LSJ motor BTW):
Closer:
See something missing?:
It was just floating around in there, it is nice and shiny:
Pic of turbo since most dont understand that part of my setup lol:
The sleeves are still in great shape, will need a basic honing and can start headed back together.
