yep it is the Sound Performance Quick Spool Valve. I bought it from Sound Performance, they are def expensive, mine was $700 and some change. It also took me like 3 months to get it because apparently they are built to order. Im the only cobalt with one as far as I know.

geeezz...im not paying that. i thought they were something like $500 now. im not even going to pay that haha. they seem to work well from what i seen. how did you like it?

Dang it thought I was going to be the first! It's all good i'll still be the first one to do it how I'm planning. Does it do well for you? I'll have less than $100 in mine

ugh **** this cobalt. leaving work today i came out car had a big cloud of smoke around it. mech said its def burning oil. but the level hasnt gone down any and its only at idal sometimes. 1 of 3 things 1 blown turbo seaals (fucked) 2. incorrect seated rings (im super fucked in the ass) 3 nothing at all .. oil is black im changing tommrrow and praying for 3. lol

Check for shaft play on the turbo. You have already racked up miles in the car. If the rings weren't seated right, it would have been burning oil the entire time.

im at 1500 miles right now. the turbo had minimal shaft play when i installed back on.. ill check when i boost leak test tommrrow. if it is the turbo shoudnt be that bad. i cant afford my setup till january though.. maybe if i buy a cheap k04 and swap exaushht housings? as mine is for a t3 flange

wont have access to that till monday.. oil pressure is fine while driving .. doesnt make boost but only because the charge pipe isnt tight and my bov leaks air. fixing tommrrow.
