They make ecotec to small block Trans adapter plates. And they make small block drop on cradles for rx7's... All you'd have to fab is side mounts and plumbing/wiring.

The only adapter plates I've seen are for the 2.2 blocks though.

Well, it only takes a little bit of modification to put a 2.2 trans on an LSJ/LNF... so I'm betting the same would still be true for the adapter plates.

The blocks are the same. Only difference the flywheel bolt pattern.

The car should be ok to drive normally as long as you are keeping the same size injectors. The smaller throttle body may make the car more prone to stalling at idle until it's adjusted for though. Drive easily and no WOT and you should be ok.

If only there was a swap to a transmission that allowed us to turn the engine with the exhaust side towards the bumper.

I really wanna do an lsj rwd swap in something small and lightweight. Itd be my ultimate fun car. Porsche trans work great for a fiero setup with the thicker axels. Hubs would be modified to accommodate porsche axles and the rest of the **** to make it all work. Dont feel like puttin to much thought right now. I already wanna do it bad enough. Gotta stop feeding the fire. Haha

Don't buy a blow off valve for the sound... but one for the performance. You see TiAL BOV's on damn near EVERY serious race/drag/street car for a reason: they work and they're simple to rebuild.

install a saab 2.3 big ecotec motor ; exhaust would be facing bumper. The rest? pretty decent challenge. Next?

and would you have any idea what ZZP's BOV they include with the LSJ turbo swap kit is?
all it says is "ZZP 50mm BOV" is that the "stattama" bov that they sell seperately? i can't find any videos of that or anything

ss/sc turbo swap cobalt - YouTube
from what I hear I like that!
is the difference between external wastegate and recirc anything to do with the pitch or really just the volume? not sure if that made sense

what I'm trying to say, is would it change the sound or just make it louder?

IIRC, it's a Chinese knock-off of the TiAL. The plus side of it is that it can be rebuilt with TiAL parts.

Been a while since I talked to anyone there, but that was the case 3 years ago.

You mean Wastegate Dump versus Wastegate Recirc? The difference is really just sound. I prefer a recirc, although when I ran mine with a dump, I didn't really notice a difference. I also had a really loud side-exit exhaust, though.

That would be idea so I could swap the lower half with a tial diverter bottom half. Compared them side by side and they're a little different though.

Just to be clear, it's a knock-off of the older style TiAL 50mm... not the newer style. The outside parts very well might be different, as well... I was just led to believe that the internals were the ones that could be swapped around.

Anyone have a 2007 ss pcm for sale or know anyone who is selling one! Please let me know. Not having a car sucks. Cant take it to the dealer for sure warnty will be voided and I dont feel like them charging me for a tow or some crazy amount for a reflash or new pcm.
