ppl be freaking out in here. Someone talks about an issue then everyone goes crazy. Yea you def need the new IC piping. and how low is your BOV? mine sits directly on top of the subframe just after the bend from the pipe coming under the oil pan. I really want new piping made so I dont have so many couplers, and I can get it PC'd

Mine is basically in my passenger fender well but the fender well is a little hacked because of the piping coming from below it into it. If your turbo wasnt spun I bet I could have had him make a copy of the piping and sent it to you. Gotta be all different with your header.

hey guys, i recently lost my job so looks like the cobalt is gonna have to go back to stock
i have a zzp turbo kit along with some other goodies.
if u guys know anyone who is willing to trade their s/c setup for my turbo setup, shoot them my way please.

yea lmao, that would be me, made 429 on that pull. The owner of that shop is pretty cool, it was dyno day they were putting on but after talking to him and seeing some other cars that I tuned go on the dyno, He told me to do my pulls myself lol. Your vids always pop up in the related section when Im looking at my vids.
Our cars are going to look even more alike very soon, Im going wingless this weekend.

Chris, my **** always has to be done the difficult way, have you had any issues with HPT shutting off during logs? It seems like when I try to do a WOT pull, it will stop logging, freeze, disconnect, I press to reconnect and it says interface not found, so I have to disconnect the usb and plug it back in and then it starts reading again. strange to me, but doesnt do it when im not logging wideband...

Mine doesnt really do that. Mine does other random weird things.
I just got my injectors cleaned and service because I got an idle hunt randomly. Put them in yesterday along with my catch can and it still hunts. After I slow down at a light it takes a couple seconds then starts to hunt and now I have negative idle timing. I had my car running so well too! ah.
I know it hunting after the idle was sitting for a bit typically means its looking at the over/underspeed tables. I am hoping its the MAF since I now have a code "MAF out of test range"...
I sprayed all the vacuum lines to see if it was that and didnt here any change right when I sprayed.
To figure out the idle issue I may just throw the stock cams back in and go from there.
I also think I now have an exhaust leak that is slowing my spool down drastically. When I started it I heard the ticking of the exhaust.
So much to fix right now, not a lot of time since I am rebuilding someones motor...

your idle issue, How much fuel is in your tank? if you have less than a half tank when its doing it, your fuel filter is bad... Im getting idle hunt right now, and Im going to change filters soon. Every time my car has ever done it, I changed the filter and problem solved.

I already have TC grills and state of Texas isnt happy with 5% tint. I can only get it on the back windows, driver/front passenger windows cant be darker than 30%

It doesnt matter how much fuel I have in the tank. When I go return I will be getting a new filter anyway so maybe it has something to do with it. I need to drop my tank too to fix my fuel issue too so maybe that is part of it too.

Does the 2.2 alt take longer to start charging the system then the 2.0 alternator? Ever since I put the zzp turbo kit on every once in awhile when I cold start my car, the battery light comes on for a second then goes away once I hold the gas down. I checked the connection it's snug and the ground is clean. Monitoring it with an interceptor shows 11.8v untill the alternator kicks in and then it goes to 14.4v. So I know that the alternator is working, just seems like its taking a minute to kick in and actually start charging. This didn't happen at all when I was superchargered, and has been happening since I installed the kit.
