Is this a secret or fancy part build or stock spec just to make the car useable again?

Removing a TVS from an LSJ is never a nice/good thing!

I might put it back on the other car when I get the motors swapped until it gets cold out for the winter, if my friend doesn't buy it right away! Will be on 80's and a BRFPS on that car tho.

I thought zzp's was 13:1. Your 2.4 is going to be nasty, and steves will be real fun with the giggly. Then he needs to make his trip up here next summer!

steves will be that high if took more then .030 of the deck and if you took that much I would check the piston to valve clearance even on stock cams

Lovely!

Needs more meth, like 100% meth. None of that gasoline or e85 crap.

Lol I'll hold you to it.

I can pick up a 2.6" for my tvs...cheap that's a lot of boost though. I'd want head work as a bare minimum for that

I said MIGHT! Would be on the 2.7 or 2.9 though until it comes off since my luck I'd run small pulley TVS for 3 years with no problems, put motor in different car, then blow it up right after swapping it And I wouldn't have fueling for a 2.6, or probably even the 2.7. Need to get that car running before anything...problem is the motor is still in my 05 that I am driving lol

something like that.
i measured 0.007 taken off the head and had 0.015 takem from the block i have the formula here to calculate the new compression and its like 10.89:1 assuming the head has a stock combustion size.

I bet you did not take as much from the block as you think @.015 that would put the sleeves just at zero deck

the sleeves stick out of the block roughly .015 so if you decked the block .015 that would put the sleeves at zero deck

I'm no machinist, engine builder or math at whizz. But that doesn't add up to me.

Sleeves protrude from top of the block 0.015 and you deck the block 0.015 then the sleeves would be at 0.030 protruding...no?

If sleeves were counter sunk @ 0.015 and block was milled down 0.015 then zero deck.

Sorry,

Yeah Jr. ported the head 3 years ago, and I have zzp S2 cams. On the 2.6 I see about 22-23psi. When I put it in the other car we will see what a 2.7 on the M62 will do for boost lol, will be the stock catback though.
