It doesn't work that way.

Something else is definitely up with delivery pre injector though. Filter is a good easy place to start.

doesnt it though? Weird. I didnt hit 100% till about 6.5k on almost the exact same setup. I would check what the others have suggested

In the process of dialing my setup

FIC 1200cc Split streams (injector data from Alan)
BRFS return style - 43.5 Base pressure
AEM E85 320 pump

keep hitting a massive lean spike at 6100

afr holds steady at 11AFR on the wideband, cruising is normal.

IPW is 16.1-16.3 the entire pull until the spike where it hits 10.3

advance is spiking 25 for some odd reason

Have you checked your fuel pressure when this happens?

No I havnt

I don't have a gauge to monitor it in car

I've had a couple conversations and we think it's maf sensor related.

When it lean spikes at wot, maf/lb drops
G/cyl kicks goes back into the higher cruising cells (explains the 25*)

I noticed that also but it could be that the maf drops out because it falls on its face. Use a regular snap-on or any brand fuel pressure gauge. Run the hose out of the hood so it won't kink and duct tape the gauge to the windshield so you can watch it while driving.

New maf didnt solve the problem

the massive lean spike now occurs at 5k at part throttle or wot.; the gas tank has less fuel in it too

I was Just telling steve that. Lol
I'm almost sure its the stock canister sock that is cauzing a restriction to the pump at higher loads.

We will just have to do another mod to the canister to allow us to run the supplied sock that came with the pump.

Well looks like we need to plan another weekend. I should have my moded injectors by then. We can hit 2 birds with 1 stone.

Is your return still dumping into the canister?
Filter sock restriction wouldn't really cause it to vary rpm based on fuel level.
I really don't see how fuel restriction can cause THAT much of a maf drop since on a blower car airflow is determined by rpm and tps...

Well steve was telling my that the lower the tank gets the worse it becomes. He can't get over 5000 rpm now.
.

Yes the return dumps right into the canister. I pulled the ball and spring out and put the cover back on it.

I don't think the sock is your big restriction at all either. Sounds like the pump is getting starved and air pockets getting in the line. Willing to bet, because the lower it gets the worse it gets, the fuel is being pulled away from the pump on accel and ssloshing to the back of the tank more so on long pulls. I dont think are stock pump assembly and pick up is adequate enough to keep up with the demands needed. Stupid design putting the fuel pump and pick up at the front of the tank

That still doesn't explain the maf freq plummeting when he's still 100% throttle and map. Granted map stops approx 23psi but it would still of airflow was actually dropping as much as the maf freq claims.

But if the motor cuts out from fuel and drops rpm wouldn't that be a reason for the maf

You know fuel delivery is the problem right now. Fix that. See what the MAF does, go from there.

I didn't catch that. I thought he said the motor cuts out. I see it in the logs now. Interesting how idc's are totally different as well.

One could be causing the other. I could have swore I read something like this while I was looking up fuel data. Maybe I can find it again

stock blower
Eaton M62
Eaton housing/case
Eaton Gen-V 3-lobe 60* twist rotor pack

"TVS"
Harrop HTV1320 LSJ
Harrop housing/case
Eaton TVS(Twin Vortices Series) 4-lobe 160* twist rotor pack

tvs is just a more efficient design

and then theres the "unicorn" H62(High Helix)

eaton basically took an m62 housing, and altered the outlet(it was a whole new cast case design, not a modded m62) and then put the TVS rotors in it.

Staged07SS is the only one that ive heard of in probably the last 5 years or more that has one
