Setup will be:
TVS w/2.6 and ATI, head/cams, E85, RSFS, fic1200

The aem fuel pumps recuire no major mod.
Just cut the stock fuel line off and use the short pice they supply

I'd like to get a pump that exceeds my requirements, if the AEM is 320lph it may be maxed out already judging by Japs car.

It's a fun setup, I know from experience

AEM 320 E85 pump should be enough as long as you can keep the canister full of fuel. I never had an issue with my 255 and re-wire, even when I revved to 8100 at the track, although i wouldn't recommend the 255 or DW300 when better options are available which will leave you enough headroom. Personally I've seen better things about the AEM 320 over the Walbro 450. I had a walbro 450 die as well.

How do you think my stock short block will hold up to the shenanigans?

The fuel in the canister is only to cool the pump. It has nothing to do with feeding the pump. Unless its been moded

I know my canister will hold fuel and if I turn the pump on it dosnt pump fuel out.
This is with putting it in a 5 gallon bucket full of fuel and holding it above.

not completely false the main purpose of the canister is to cool the pump if the canister was the main means for fuel pickup then it would have only 1 sock and it would be on the inside of the canister and no way to pull fuel from the outside of the canister well its not like that its main feed comes from the tank sump and it is restricted so it will pull very very little fuel from the canister to keep cooler fuel circulating around the pump that is why is has a filter sock on the inside bottom of the canister that is the only reason I could come up with for the pump needing to filter socks

As John said, it draws from both but the bottom of the canister is restricted.
If what you said was true, Taylor drilling hole in his canister would have made no change, and zzp would be liars about Matt's setup.

Also 04-05 and 06-07 canisters are different. 06-07's (at least the one in my 07) has the pump hook up to the bottom of the can with the filter on the bottom exterior of the canister. My 05 the filter sits inside the canister with only that screen (restrictor) to allow fuel into the can.

The restrictor is also a check valve.

Where exactly is the restrictor or check vakve on the pumps and what does it look like?

I wonder if that's causing part my issue. I've dropped the tank several times and wonder if I overlooked this

Looks like a small washer with a thin rubber seal underneath. The "restrictor" is a through hole in the middle, probably 1/4".

So me and Jap put the TVS on.

IDC is 100% at 4K - and that's with a 2.8 on it. Too funny.
