as for actual boost, well gauge read to 30psi and it was coming back around (between the b and the o "boost" that was labeled on the bottom of the gauge lol)

70gph... so the IDC's were at 30-40% on stock injectors?

as far as the boost gauge goes

and I knew it was gonna blow up, even told him it would. But damn I've never had a sc cobalt run that hard before. the spin out in the oil at the end kind of sucked though

**** it at least someone had the ***** to try something new and not build the same **** that has been done over and over again on here.

lol idc was down to about 71% on the id1000's at 7915 rpm the pull right before the last and final one.

but according to a few calculations we did (going off whatever harrop data we can find) blower outlet temps should have been approx 520 degrees, we were seeing a peak of 221 deg iat2's (still too high for my liking) so meth was definitely doing it's job somewhat.

But we have a few things in the works to fix these issues and get this thing making some serious hp on the tvs. You know how much I hate supercharged 4 cylinders, so it's gotta be something seriously balsey to get me to want to work on it lol.

on another note the 6262 car was seeing a peak of 77degree iat2's at 26psi and definitely over 500whp lol.

just to give you an idea of what that sounds like quick little 2nd and 3rd gear pull, trans is acting up so he's shifting slow (he mess it up when doing the lsd)

I think spraying e85 instead of meth would have been a better choice

I think it was awesome. Glorious death!! You knew the outcome when you made the decision. Glad to see someone at least try a different thing to cure their own curiosity. I'm tired of the how should we say cookie cutter builds because its safe to do so.

you might want to do a little more reading on that not to mention you can use a fuel injector to get better atomization or you can use a nitrous fuel solenoid

My stock camshafts got mixed up. How do I tell which is intake and which is exhaust. One has a 10 and the other has a 2 on it. Is it really that simple? 10 is exh and 2 is intake cause thats how the gears go when you time it, or is this just a coincidence?

Coincidentally the 10 is the exh and the 2 is the intake. Thanks MR.B

Aiight guys; havent been around for a while, but finally got a good solid tune on my shitbox.
But here is the problem; last year around july I had Steigemeir rebuild my TVS cause the needle bearings were going out, about 20K miles on the blower with a 3.1 pulley and 14gph meth.

Well last week it started making the case needle bearing noise again right after I popped the 3rd bypass valve apart...the bypass valves either blow the diaphragm apart or the spring breaks.

Im currently on the 2.6" with 14gph and I just swapped nozzles to 24gph, but ot doing anything since the ****** wont boost...

My questions is: I havent really heard anything about other guys having these consistent issues like I am, wtf is the deal with my pileoffuck?
And I dont have the cash right now to have it rebuilt so Im gonna just throw a new set of needle bearings in, but are the bearings the same as the m62 or wut?

I have my buddy Brian K giving me a hand with the rebuild btw, (100%meth and trevor knows him)...

either your not getting enough grease in the needles or the bearings got damaged upon install or something happened to the rotor pack and it is out of balance or could be out of time also
