The boost curve changed as well, as you could see on my old TVS dyno graph. Instead of being linear it caused a peak and fall effect.
Hmm.... what was the reasoning your boost fell off?

On my car it builds and peaks right at my rev limit. Never falls off.

Taylor you talking about my set? If so that's realy odd because I lost about 1/2 in the midrange and 1-1.5 up top.

Yeah mine started falling off when I put the cams in. It boosted more than the stock cams, so that threw me off. I thought maybe the huge head ports and cams together were outflowing the blower on the 2.6, but it did the same thing on the 2.9, so I'm not sure. It used to peak at redline. On the m62 on the gray car it does the same thing, but I don't know if that little guy can keep up with the airflow.

Yeah the set I got from you. Car ran well, it just dropped boost up top and made more boost than the stock cams! Always baffled me lol.

It was. I tried literally everything mechanically. Tried 3 different bypasses, tried adjusting the valve on the blower, did the bypass mod, boost leak tested it probably 20 times, changed blower gaskets, everything. And it didn't do it in spring when the stock cams were in it, but after I did the cams it started dropping boost up top. After all that I just said screw it because the car ran hard and pulled well, so I didn't bother trying anything else. Still doing the same thing with the M62 which is now the 4th bypass valve, but still the car runs hard. 13.0 with a 1.96 60' through the stock catback on a 2.7 M62, she's healthy enough.

Edit: And that same TVS is on my friend's car now and making 24 lbs up top on the 2.7 on the stock head and stock cams with a linear boost curve. So I know the blower is working correctly.

Can anyone tell me if I should install a new balance shaft chain kit when I install the neutral balance shafts? My car has around 90k miles on it.

Doesn't hurt. Another not so bad idea would be the waterpump too while you're in there.

Sleeves?

That sounds awesome. So many killer blower builds lately! Almost sounds worthy for a 1900...

It was bound to happen one day lol.

So idk looking at dyno numbers with somewhat similar numbers, its all across the boards.. i dont really have a goal here but looks like ~370/300 to the wheels is doable

MrB once i heard yours screaming behind me ripping the tires in 2nd gear at the meet this summer i just had to get one lol

Yup that's right around where you'll sit with your current set up.
