Exclamation Opt B plumbing bad???????? help

I got around to do my Dual pass + phenolic spacer + opt b on the car and after getting everything installed and tightened up I got to start the car. after running it and getting it hot, the first thing I saw was the opt B tank filled up past the fill line I left it in. Took the car out and did a drive around the block and my IAT stayed at 100.

Currently I have on the car as well is the s3 zzp front mount heat exchanger. I routed the stock heat exchanger out to the zzp h/e and the zzp h/e out to the pump nipple going horizontal. upon that when I started the plumbing for opt b I replaced the hose coming from my pump with the nipple going up and down and that hose goes into the middle inlet of the dual pass as in picture.

is this plumbing correct or something is bad????

on the side note the cores on the intake manifold goes as follows.
from top to bottom its open face ; closed face with orifice ; closed face with orifice ; open face. I believe that is correct.

after car was hot and stuff IAT at 102 and jumping up and down, I popped the hood. noticed the clear line was actually pushing coolant towards the stock heat exchanger. A while back I remember seeing bubbles come out thru the bottom of the tank. instead of the clear line I think they came thru the black hose.

that's what the restrictors was for lol hahaha

so pull out the clear line at the opt b tank and stuff it in there and then back into the tank nipple?

Hey Luis I'm going to be back in jersey this coming weekend if you want me to look at it if you haven't figured it out by then.

Do you have a restrictor in the heat exchanger to option b tank.?

Also with the car running, unbolt the option b tank so you can lift it up high while all the hoses are still attached. I always had to do this to kick start the bleeding process when I was supercharged. I think there's a possibility of a big air bubble in the system.

so how do I shove the restrictor in? (as in what direction)
small orifice towards opt b nipple or the big orifice?

When I put mine in i didn't notice a difference in flow reduction either way the orfice was faced. It will still flow some coolant through constantly, but I would assume the tapered end would be on the option b side and not the heat exchanger side.

Lowest temps I saw on my sc set up. M62 with 2.8, zzp stage 3 he, phenolic spacer, dual pass and option b, distilled water with water wetter

U put the restrictor into the clear hose with the pointiest end first and that line connects right to the fitting on the top of the h.e.

The routing looks ok but i cant totally tell how the opt b return line connects into the dual pass outs & pump in portion.

Using y fittings instead of t's helped me as well as replacing hoses with prebent ones to be sure that theres no kinks.

X2 on holding the tank up to help burp the system.

Check my recent threads theres a 9 page one with tons of info ajd opinions on my option b install

K guys. I put the restrictor in and held the tank up. I notice it fills up quite fast and bubbles come out thru bottom . And rice burner. The top and bottom nipples on dual pass are my outlets. the middle is the in that comes from the pump.

U need to reroute ur hoses per gm instructions, im pretty sure that the pump should flow in too the heat exchanger, then if u have a extra HE flow the stock into the aftermarket one, then flow the after market one into ur in nipple of dual pass, dual pass will exit into a T or Y and carry the flow into the pump. This should fix ur issue.

How i have mine but it may not be correct is the cold coolant goes in the top and bottom, then returns through the middle. My thought of thermal dynamics is I wanted as much cold coolant in the manifold as I could. I then ran out of the manifold to my stock heat exchanger, to my front mount heat exchanger, to my pump. my option b runs off of the output of the manifold. It runs to a T running north and south. North for air south for coolant.
