Option B?

I've been browsing around reading posts to try and map out my plan of attack for modding my 06 ss/sc, but I keep running into "Option B" conversations in regards to HEs. Can anyone explain to me what exactly Option B is and why its used?

Appreciate it!

It essentially is a surge tank that allows for you to bleed air from the system at all times, alot of people have used a 'flow-through' tank setup which accomplishes what option b does and then more

It gives you an extra tank and keeps the heat away

I'm still confused by it haha, and not to thread jack, but the dual pass endplate..thing..basically circulates the air twice through the HE instead of once right?

air? coolant.

The dual pass circulates the coolant through the laminova cores in the intake manifold twice instead of four times like the factory endplate, thus helping to prevent heatsoak because the coolant isnt flowing through/sitting in there as long and getting hot as hell.
