Option B

I feel like a noob but can someone explain to me the advantage of having Option B and what it does? It looks to me like the existing reservoir from our car and some hoses. . . lol

Pardon my ignorance
Thanks

Ya maybe a little. It is more coolant in the system. But i'm so happy i had one after i installed my heat exchanger and dual pass. The system bled itself in 5 miles. The system is a bitch to bleed without it.
