OTTP Long Tube Header
can you not provide any numbers that the 2.2 saw?

i would also imagine that the exhaust note is tenfold better than any shorty out there since they make our cars sound like honders lol.
my point is that for about 410$ + shipping costs and gaskets ZZP's midlength gives say 10hp (all theoretical numbers mind you) and for 700$ yours gives say 13 hp. the extra 3 horsepower isnt worth the 300 dollar difference when 450 gets you so far. you know?
but i will say that i love the quality of all the work that you guys do. just not too interested in something for sale for 6xx that barely outperforms something that was 4xx.
i was not specifically bashing you guys we just want to know if the piece of mind extended by knowing that OTTP made this piece will extend into the performance gains seen with this header installed.
either way i would be waiting to get this header. as this seems to be the only one that i would purchase. so i will keep this thread in mind once the numbers come out (even though they won't show me much in terms of 2.2 NA power since you test on LSJs) and i can gauge claims and dynos from you and say another vendor.

well, i've been proven wrong, and that is hellacious cheap. Most header DP combo's run around 600-700 so thats what i based my opinion on.
thats why i want to see numbers from OTTP. its either 450 or 750 lol
they do good work but i like numbers as well.

EDIT: the trans/motor mount is made by powell also.
FWIW I will NEVER be against questioning any vendors quality of work, advertised gains, explanations of why their part is better, etc. This is all information that the community should have to better understand what decision they are making

I have a good idea.... If u want proof just wait or buy it and get ur own.
First no 2 cars are gonna be the same so what one person is gonna dyno vs another is completely insignificant....

The one thing that has been proven is that ottp sells great products and has great customer service so if u need more than that just don't buy it

mind you thats all for 2.5 dp and all that. most people charge more for 3" and they use a cheap magnaflow cat so its not a direct comparison but you get the point.

listen this thread is derailing. Ralliartist you did a single pass and got help from me I told you it worked.
Deathscythe did a header comparison, dyno and all, blew his car up. Everyone piled on said his data was flawed and the JPB he called out as junk was not.
so whats a guy gonna do?
here is my take on it.
Deathscythes flawed testing? Vibrant was good.
OTTP's considered opinion going into a header? If he makes it and he is, I am on the list and cant wait to buy one and get it on my car.
The rest? Wait. dont get all bent out of shape we are happy to buy and try and some of us will let you know.
BTW Longtubes work excellent on many cars. In fact I dont know of a short tube header that works better than a long tube on any motor. Does anyone here? Let me know thanks
