he's actually on the money. He just was a bit harsh in using the words "knock-off".

i wouldnt call it a knock off just because its also a midlength anymore than i would call any of the shorties out there knock offs of each other

No, the pacesetter for the ecotec is very very similar to the ZZP header. The OTT longtube is about twice the primary length.

^right, which is obviously why it's called a longtube.

I think the SLP "longtube" is funny now. I remember telling someone when it was in development that it was not a longtube, it was a mid-length. They argued with me and said they can call it whatever they want. LOL

I would expect a typo to be the last thing, but hey, it really doesn't matter. I'm not a CTI fan anyway. I would prefer Clear Image over any other company, by far, but this is a promising piece for my 2.2, so I will settle.

Did you not understand what josh said? To make it easier to get on the site he cloned a product. When you clone a product everything copies and he looked over that part. I can assure you that these are hand made by josh. There would be no gain for us to lie what so ever. CTI was never involved with this. Typo's happen all the time you could probably even find one in my reply here.

I think it's a valid request. I definitely would not buy something blindly that's never been tested. That just doesn't make sense. You are now asking us to buy it because you are OTTP and your word is gold? That's not how it works, at least not for the majority of people. You need to test this header before you just throw it on the market not knowing at all what it does for an engine.

I'm really confused at this marketing skill. Don't get me wrong guys, I love everything that OTTP has done for the community, I have spent quite a chunk of change with them myself, and I plan to buy some more parts from them again soon. But this really puzzles me about this header.
Confused?

Brad,

You have been around for a long time on here. Tell me you have not forgot about when the tvs rolled out? Same exact deal then as now. This is our money put into this project nothing collected from customers to develop it, we are offering a discount to customers willing to test out the header (fitment is already good) and report gains. It's very common across the industry becuase no two cars are alike and everyone has different mods and some may respond better to this then others. There is a method to all of this and i think in the end once all the numbers have been reported you will appreciate the way we went about it .

Look, sorry I'm questioning your marketing. I have no problem with ya'll, or john, anyone really. I've bought products from you guys and I plan to again. I really want this header, and I will get it, but as of right now, I can't. I got a family, and I'm in another country. When I can get time set to go back and get the car ready and ship it over here, I'll get one of these headers, and more from you guys.

truth be told, I've only dyno'ed my car once, and that was when I just had some cooling mods.

But I've tested things at the track numerous times. It sure was nice having a 1/8th mile just 5 miles across the river from my house back in Nebraska. I'm sure I'll miss that.

Sounds good. I really could care less about the results though, I know that header will perform.

Here's the reason I need it so bad....I'm currently on a 1.5" primary pacesetter midlength. Not exactly the highest performing. I could tell it choked down my car bad after I had put my ported head on. It had TONS of low and mid range and kind of leveled off up top.

Yea, I don't have enough for this header right now either. But I will in the future. and I'll get it with the burns or whatever is the best collector.

should bolt up to any 3" SS/SC catback without a problem. Hahn is one of the most popular, so i'm sure you'll be fine.

I just looked up the burns collectors, and dang, those are some really nice, high quality, high tech collectors. I'm really excited now.
