oh, the tip just looked like a fart-can.

shitty youtube videos never do exhausts justice. The only video i've ever liked of a cobalt exhaust i Stu's car. And that's probably only because i've heard it in person.

As for the cat issue.. I don't think anyone is going to have a notable gain by going cat-less, maybe a few HP. There is an in-depth thread on this topic some where on this forum. But yeah, for sure, a high flow cat rapes stock.
the lenght plays into the production of low-end torque, generally the longer the tubes the lower it shifts the powerband, think about short ram intakes vs cold air intakes, also motorcycles tune there powerbands by the lenght of there pipes, people looking for alot of top-end use shorter ones, while others who want more low end muscle use mid's and long tubes.

btw, josh do you know which persons shipped out today?

One person showed a power loss on a JBP header, and his engine at the time was suspect. Would like to see numbers on this header.

They sat down and figured out the dream header for an LSJ. Then built it.

well, when you compare it to most header/dp combo's its similar in price. The JBP header is crap, and priced accordingly.

Im not really buying it for huge gains, Im buying it for the following-

1. Long tube=torque
2. No leaky header/downpipe, v band
3. metal matrix cat, so my exhaust is quieter/less rasp
