Just wondering if anyone has taken the bleed valve off the bottom. Installed mine this weekend and I noticed it hangs down past the front lip and I don't like that....one speedbump too tall or too close to a curb and there goes all the coolant. So if you have taken it off, what have you used to replace it??

 

Please search for my OTTP gen 4 Heat Exchanger install "How to". I mention what you should replace the drain with.

I'll give u a hint: 1/4" NPT Plug.

 

I couldn't find a plug like his ^ but I found a drain plug with something like a wingnut that when screwed all the way opens the center.

 

Thanks, didn't think to do a search for it...looks like I will have to try and swap it quick so I don't loose a gallon of coolant. Should have done this before I put it on.
