Hey there, im new to this and i just purchased a 06 Cobalt SS/SC, and put a cold air intake on her, NGK plugs (it really needed them), and simple regular maintanence ect. Now a couple weeks later a P0172 Code pops up It started bucking a lot and now it seems it surges just normal driving My question is what the hell is making this happen? All ive seen is it might b my cold air, but that would kinda suck that u cant even put a cold air on these (tunner) cars Anyone?

 

The intake might need to be tuned to the vehicle.

What type of cold air intake did you use?

Some members have issues with Lean/Rich conditions when installing aftermarket intakes.

 

What intake did you put on? That is mostly likely why it popped a code.
