If u have a tune for stage two leave.the 42 s in and stage twoo pulley also u cant just throw a pulley or injectors on with out the tune. Id regap ure plugs and see if it goes away. . If gap were at. 034 gap to. 032 if at. 032 gap to. 030

you're running the stage 2 tune with stock injectors? There's your problem right there. Put some 42# on there and it should clear it up.

As far as I understand
Stock = 3.3" with 35# Injectors
Stage 1 = 3.3" with 42# Injectors + Tune
Stage 2 = 3.0" with 42# Injectors + Tune
Stage 3 = 3.0" with 42# Injectors + Tune

At least the GM stages. They may have changed them some though.
I thought I heard somewhere that GM Stage 3 might be a 2.9 Pulley now.

I'v been running 42s on a 2.85" pulley ever since I baught my car (Used, came that way)
and havnt had any issues. But I don't race it either, and don't really get on it much.
