I had the ticking as soon as i started the car up. Then we rechecked all the bolts to the manifold and downpipe and retightened them and the noise went away.

I hope to have sound clips soon so you guys can hear what the car sounds like.

Right now the guy (Hector) is working on designing the downpipe with a cat. My car with out a cat sounds so nice!!! It doesn't sound raspy at all. Really nice tone to it. I can't say how the 2.2 engine will sound without a cat though.

I don't know about you guys, but my car with my header and exhaust sounds EXACTLY like a race car! I was watching the video from when I went to a thing where I could race on a road coarse, and my car sounded just like the full blown race cars that were out there!

I would like to go with 2.75, because I really don't think I will ever push that much hp to need a 3". 2.75 may even be pushing it.

Right now if i put the cat in there, your o2 will sit in front of the cat which will trigger a cel. Or maybe ill just do a cel fix on this setup too.
Maybe you could make some kind of 02 sensor extension that you could sell with the down pipe that just clips in place with no cutting. I don't know how hard that would be but it seems simple enough. Just a thought.

I think that's what he may do. I am going back to his shop next week because the gasket that pacesetter gave me broke (I think anyways). If not then something is loose like a bolt, but i will let you guys know.

Are you guys talking about the rear O2 sensor? I just cut mine off, literally I just cut the wires and capped them. I have 1 O2 sensor and thats it. I simply disabled the CEL for those codes with hp tuners.

did you use any of that gasket maker that the instructions say to use, and do you have any leaks from the manifold-head?
