painting cobra h/e

Well i picked up a stock cobra h/e from jimbo and should have it here by next week,i was wonderin would i be able to paint it silver so it looks like c/a's intercooler and is visable?i was plannin to use hi temp radiator paint

you can paint it, but the question is will it effect what it is used for? like saying if you cover the h/e will it actually get all that cold air it needs to it or will the paint cause it to suffer a little

use a thin coat of paint cause it will defeat the purpose of it

It should not i noticed that h/e was painted try to get some of it off before you repaint it so it dont get to thick on there

stock cobra h/e are factory black,so they werent painted,but ill see what i can come up with..might put SS in red letters up front

do what i did...use paint stripper and strip the black off and then repaint it cause your not adding paint over paint and it shouldnt affect anything

nope actual paint stripper from walmart... its in a spary can just spray it all over the h/e and let it sit awhile and wipe it off..it will take a few times to get it off..then i took it to the car was and used a high pressure washer and cleaned it off

thats what i wanna do,just do the front,i dont really care bout the back,unless its double sided,lol....i think i can do that

i got crap load of paint,stripper,and non rusting paint...im sure i can make it look new,just hope the fins arent bent to much
