I've still got the original GM 2.8" stock pulley from my Z24 GM performance parts supercharger, just to give you a hint as to my plans with Stage 2.

Wait, can't you buy the parts seperately??? I'm guessing not. Even so, I'd still get stage 2 with a 2.8" pulley so if anythign ever went wrong you could put the stock 3" back on.

I have a little question. I heard the rating for the supercharger is 14,000 rpm? Is taht correct?
If so, with a 2.8" pulley, doesn't it spin the supercharger at around 13,900 rpm at 6,500 engine rpm? So if the stage kits have the raised rev limiter, wouldn't the supercharger speed exceed 14,000 rpm causing some damage??

Easy Leafy,
As I Said, I Am Just Here To Answer Any Questions I Can Or Call Some People At Gm That You Cant, To Get The Answers. I Made A Few Calls Today And Have Some Guys At Gm Checking A Few Things As Far As A More Accurate Date For Sale, warranty Issues Ect. I Did Find Out That These Parts (stage1,2) Are Going To Be Sold As An Accessory. Gm's Warranty On Accessories Is 12/12. If You Install Any Accessory On A New Car The Accessory Is Warrantied Up To The Remainder Of The New Car Warranty. 3/36
Gm Would Not Sell A Part That Would Void Your Warranty Unless It Was A High Performance Part For Off-road Use Only.

Well, for one thing you come out of no-where on when and where these are going to come out, how much, and you can get a deal etc, I mean with so many internet scams out there, how can you be trusted? Why hasn't anyone else posted on this or have access to the same information as you? What makes your situation so special whereas I can't get the same info at my dealer? Etc, etc, etc...

These are legitimate Questions, and considering you only have 6 posts on this forum, I don't see any reason to do so, yet.

I want my money to go where money is safe, it's great that you are trying to help, but don't be suprised or insulted when there is speculation about your claims.

Thanks,

Sean

Someone finally comes to possibly show some insight like we all want and they gets bad-mouthed. Damn people, chill out. They will come out when ever GM decides to release them, nothing any of you can do to rush the process.

No badmouthing here, just applying clarity.

And where is the answer to the statement The GM Parts Guy made that there is "a part # for a 318hp 2.0 engine"
Ignoring this question, when he alone mentioned it ,leads me to again say BS. Thats not bad mouthing, it is my opinion though.

If you find that part # I will be buying that motor and dropping it in my car, so I really hope you find it. And thanks for getting back to that question. Now if you can't find it how about getting your inside sources to tell us how and where to get the rev limiter raised to the same as the dyno sheet (7850rpm) at the end of the 300+hp build article on GM Performance Division's website. If you or any other GM insider can produce this solution I will gladly hand over $100.US.

I agree and am planning on buying the GM kit when available, but, wouldn't buying the Intense or Rev-It-Up kit also be buying domestic?
