pick your tuner wisely
yeah, when I met him he took the time to help me understand my car and even made me feel like a friend instead of just a customer, had dinner with him and his wife and they treated me and my wife really good so it pisses me off to see people talking **** on him, he dont just take peoples money with no concern for them or their cars.
Thers sum good info in here however there is alot of bullshit to read thru as well, mods should really clean this up and this could turn out to be an informative thread

Trifecta has NEVER blow a motor, A part caused the failure on cars tunned by Trifecta, the tune itself had nothing to do with it and logs dont lie nor tune programs. Finally if you want a tune your vehicle cant handle then thats at your own risk to do so and your own fault, so the only person to blame would be yourself since You wanted the tune and knew the risks, otherwise this tunner should have told said OP that it may blow! So both are to blame tunner and owner if thats the case.
and I won't lie I had 3 cars pop motors I've tuned:
1st - ss/sc guy went from a stage II pulley to a 2.6 (42lb injectors, never was retuned, he did this on his own and was about 20degrees out lol)
2nd- ss/sc guy ran the wrong **** in his meth injection (ethyl alcohol, which I should have had his timing a bit lower, but he did also blow his stock clutch within 100 miles of owning the car to give you an idea of how it was driven)
3rd - car was a turbo swapped car that upped the boost from 19-23 lb's on 104 (without retune, but car also had about 50bottles of a 75shot sprayed through it before we went turbo)
and then mine, tried 34psi on a 60-1 stock sleeves, motor no likey.

So, pm me with PROOF or shut your mouth!
thank you
Probably exactly what happened to my car. I do check my plugs quite often and everything looked in check. But I guess it only takes once.
and you had stock top end? you have proof? send me a pm and i will have vince look into it, other ppl on here have claimed the tune blew the motor, and actually a stock part failed that caused the motor to blow. He has all records of tunes and logs so i'll need your Vin to send to him to look at the tune and log to see if thats true. I'm on the same page as James tell ppl about they're car and so on, Vince released a statement to US dealers telling us that the 15,000 plus tunes hes done none have blown from the tune itself, besides the 3k in balts hes tunned. Further more I and him help customers beyond the tune with other issues with they're vehicles are having that arn't tune related to get the car running properly, basically a free working shop to help customers, from logging and so forth.
So, pm me with PROOF or shut your mouth!

Fully built head, sleeved and all. It was because we didnt have a fuel regulator to up the pressure under boost, i never pointed fingers this was months ago, its just idiotic to say never. And when we where on the dyno he didnt know we where going for that much power, my ass, then he thought we had stock map sensor again my ass, and now everthing is fixed with a regulator and a 2.5 bar and its still lean. Basically it got so hot from running lean it melted a valve, the valve smacked the piston and wedged its self into the head. ill get the vin for you. but we have a dyno sheet in the dyno section its lwpoons car showing how lean it was.
