plugs

So i went in to Advanced Auto today and was looking for 1 step colder plugs becasue i just got my 60s and 2.8 in the mail and im ready to get tuned. I was told on here to get one step colder but when i went to advnaced they told me my tuner is dumb and the people i talked to are not right and i should stay at stock plugs and the only reason i would need to go colder is if im running "Nos" as he said it. So what im wondering is what is the answer. do i need 1 step colder

get em and make sure you gap them correctly. i went 2 step colder on my last build. but i sugguest you find out why you need to change your spark before you do it rather than take someone elses advice or opinion for that matter
