I just got rid of the ridges and smoothed it out. That's all.

Why LS4 at all? The LSJ TB isn't maxed... I drove the LS4 (with grinded off ridge and light porting) for over a year and just switched back to a lightly ported LSJ TB a little while ago. Much better and smoother.

you could hog it out some more, but remember, you need to match an intake and match the inlet of the supercharger to whatever size your TB is, or it's pointless.

I just grinded off any ridges, and then ported the inlet of the supercharger to match it. Mine drives perfectly smooth and has a really strong low end. I also have a custom 3" intake.

seems like u would need a 3.5" intake or it would still be pointless

yea, if you hog the ls4 throttle body out, you would need an intake larger than a 3". I didn't port the inlet of mine past 3". I just got rid of the ridges.
