porting zzp header possible?

i just bought a zzp shorty header off of a fellow member here. i was looking at it today and say that i could make the ports a little bigger if i port them. has anyone done this before? i am not sure how much i would be able to port until i go through the outside any ideas?

i tried this on an old header i had and the welds ended up leaking and cracking. i have to say that it wont help on a header made with tubes, only a manifold like the stock or GMPP style

it's an aftermarket header made like that for a reason. There are "gas laws" that you need to read up on as to why. That's why step headers make the most power.

10 days. you gonna meet up? Looks like you are working on some mods now. Get that header on there, you'll love the gain from that.
