I'm pretty sure the SS has provisions for a Transmission Control Module, but I don't know if the tranny would physically bolt to an automatic without an adapterplate

Sure Onyx, you know you could.
Lots of Saabs have autos, I'd check into them. I don't remember the numbers but I think the Cobalt auto isn't rated for too much power and your LSJ would hammer it.

The HHR SS has an auto with the LNF. That would be the one to get, but big bucks.
A redline with an auto and SC would sure be different!

Just my 2 cents, your reality may differ.

Depends on what tranny you used.

A 4T45e would theoretically be pretty closed to maxed out on a stage 2.

Plus swtiching from 5 speed to 4 speed wouldnt be very good.

I would imagine it would run 14.5to15.0

IMO an automatic wouldn't be too much slower. 60ft times might actually be better with an auto over a manual. I think a stock LSJ auto would run 14.5 if not faster.

Yeah, in my auto, my 60' isnt much lower than most LSJs, and they have an assload more torque.
