im not sure on this but you don't want to be running your power from there as you want that to be your data line. i don't know why they give you that option but oh well. i know that in the instructions it says to leave the jumper on if you are powering from the obd2 port but it doesn't work for some reason.

you can run multiple gauges off of one fuse there are 2 things you need to keep in mind when doing this though. make sure they all are properly grounded if you have one good ground you can use that for all 3 and to make sure you have a fuse that will be big enough to support all 3. so if each gauge takes 3 amps then you get a 10amp fuse that sorta thing.

now in my opinion i wouldn't but that's just me simply because it's easier to narrow down things when/if something happens.
