Power difference?

I was looking at the ZZP Stage 3 kit to happen in the near future. I noticed they do an oversized tensioner or a shorter pulley. Is there a power difference between the 2? Or just to make the swap cheaper and easier they give u the oversized so u don't need to buy anything else?

how could a shorter belt or oversized tensioner change the power think about it its to give you options on how you can drop pullies on the blower

Just wanted to make sure. I have only done turbo until now, so figured I might as well ask the stupid questions here/now to get them out of the way lol

Also, why do I see a lot of ppl buying the 60# injectors when their kit states 50# would be plenty (I plan on running a 2.8)

Unfortunately, we only have 93 octane in CT.. So I guess 50# will be enough. If I want more power I can tune for some meth. Getting married soon and am trying to put aside some cash for a house so it won't be pushed passed that anytime soon... if ever

60's are hard to idle w/o a damn good tune, if you plan on goin bigger one day may as well save for/spend the extra couple bucks n go 80's, if not you will become power hungry and want more power then end up buying them anyway, just my .02 lol

You don't "need" any cooling mods. You will be fine running the 2.8" in itself. Cooling mods are just nice to have.

Make sure your IC pump is working. LOL

If you plan on doing more in the future, just get the 80s.

60s are a little rough at idle, especially cold starts.. it's not too bad though..

If you plan on sitting on their stage kit though, just go with the 50s

ive been running 60s for a while now, my idles fine. i was on the canned ottp tune for a while then got tuned to pass emmissions. idles fine, minus the occasional blip due to a misfire or something and the more usual throttle body b.s.

x4 on 80's for E, might as well just get 80s

and more cooling mods the better. most important ones would be dual pass and option b, niether of which i have yet.

60's on corn should be good up to a 2.9 as long as you don't rev the crap out of the car. 80's is what most people run because they use smaller pullies. If your going to run a 2.9 or bigger pulley you should run 60's because the idle is a little better.

The only other things that I would add to your list of cooling mods to get would be a phenolic IM spacer and a griffen heat exchanger.
